Basketball Recap: Marquand-Zion Takes a Loss

After flying high against North Pemiscot last Saturday, Marquand-Zion came back down to earth. The Tigers came up short against the Valley Vikings on Wednesday, falling 73-53. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 75-47 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2024.

Marquand-Zion now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Valley, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Marquand-Zion didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 80-37 win against Bourbon on the 4th. As for Valley, they have also already played their next game, a 55-32 loss against West County on the 4th.
