Lathrop proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by 11) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the North Pole Patriots, sneaking past 3-2. Lathrop have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw North Pole, too.

Lathrop hit North Pole with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Elijah Hoop, Keenan Long, and Jeremiah Barber.

Lathrop now has a winning record of 2-1. As for North Pole, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-4-2.

Coming up, Lathrop is taking a road trip to challenge Grace Christian at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Pole, they will be playing at home against Hutchison at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
