Football Game Preview: Independence/Gilmanton Indees vs. Blair-Taylor Wildcats

Independence/Gilmanton is 2-7 against Blair-Taylor since October of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Indees will head out to face off against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Blair-Taylor took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Independence/Gilmanton, who comes in off a win.

While Independence/Gilmanton's victory against Augusta wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Indees narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Beavers 8-6.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Blair-Taylor challenged Eleva-Strum on Friday. The Wildcats lost 59-34 to the Cardinals.

Blair-Taylor's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Independence/Gilmanton, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Independence/Gilmanton might still be hurting after the 38-16 defeat they got from Blair-Taylor in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Indees avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
