Softball Recap: Renaissance Academy Takes a Loss

Renaissance Academy was the 16-1 winner over Plumstead Christian when they last played one another back in May of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Renaissance Academy came up short against Plumstead Christian on Monday, falling 19-5. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Renaissance Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabby Anderoni, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Another was Angelina Tamburino, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple and one run.

Renaissance Academy now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Plumstead Christian, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coming up, Renaissance Academy will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Collegium Charter at 3:45 p.m. As for Plumstead Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Faith Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
