Basketball Game Preview: Green Bobcats vs. Eastern Eagles

Green hasn't had much luck against Eastern recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Green Bobcats will host the Eastern Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Green took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They came out on top against Lynchburg-Clay by a score of 53-45.

Meanwhile, Eastern hadn't done well against Wheelersburg recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Eastern snuck past Wheelersburg with a 58-53 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Eastern's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Green, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-2.
