Baseball Recap: Barnsdall Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Barnsdall entered their tilt with Foyil on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 17-7 margin over Foyil. The result was nothing new for Barnsdall, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Barnsdall pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Foyil, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Looking ahead, Barnsdall will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Memorial at 10:00 a.m. Memorial has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 20.38 runs per game on average), something Barnsdall will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Foyil, they will take on Bluejacket at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Foyil is facing Bluejacket at the right time seeing as Bluejacket is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
