Soccer Game Preview: Kinston vs. Beddingfield

The Kinston Vikings will head out to challenge the Beddingfield Bruins at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Kinston's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for eight straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Monday just wasn't the day for Kinston's offense. They came up short against Farmville Central on Monday, falling 9-0. That's two games in a row now that Kinston have lost by exactly nine goals.

Meanwhile, Beddingfield got the win against Tarboro on Monday by a conclusive 5-1. Beddingfield haven't had any issues with Tarboro recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Beddingfield's victory bumped their record up to 7-4-1. As for Kinston, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Kinston suffered a grim 9-0 defeat to Beddingfield when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
