Baseball Recap: Berman Hebrew Academy Drops Highest Score of Season Against Sandy Spring Friends

Berman Hebrew Academy scored the most runs they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 9-6 to the Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildebeests apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Berman Hebrew Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Lichtman, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Berman Hebrew Academy and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Sandy Spring Friends, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Berman Hebrew Academy and Sandy Spring Friends will both be playing St. Anselm's Abbey the next time they take the field. The Wildebeests will head out to face the Panthers at 4:15 p.m. on Friday, while the Cougars will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
