Volleyball Recap: Satellite Extends Winning Streak to Four

Satellite came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Eau Gallie Commodores 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Scorpions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Satellite walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-4, 25-20.

Harper Lanza was nothing short of spectacular: she had six aces and three digs. Those six aces gave her a new career-high. Macy Ferland also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Satellite was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in six consecutive matches.

Satellite's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Eau Gallie, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-13.

Satellite wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Bayside on the 9th. As for Eau Gallie, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Space Coast on the 9th.
