Green Mountain is 7-2 against Conifer since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Rams will be playing at home against the Lobos at 7:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Green Mountain sitting on three straight victories and Conifer on four.

On Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Green Mountain beat Evergreen 35-30.

The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Drew Contreras and Gianni Volpe. Contreras had a great game and rushed for 146 yards and three TDs on only 15 carries. Meanwhile, Volpe did his best for the losing side, rushing for 52 yards and one score, while also picking up 99 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, Conifer humbled Summit with a 49-6 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lobos, who have now won seven games by 35 points or more so far this season.

Conifer's win came from a few key players Green Mountain will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Charlie Ostrowski, who threw for 311 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 passes. Those 311 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Conifer's leading receiver Mason Harrington was Ostrowski's top target yet again, picking up 158 receiving yards and one TD, while also punching in one rushing score.

Conifer's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Green Mountain, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Green Mountain took their win against Conifer in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 56-34 score. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lobos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
