Soccer Recap: McKinley Comes Up Short

McKinley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Edna Karr Cougars. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by just one goal.

McKinley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-1. As for Edna Karr, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-8-1.

McKinley will face off against Parkview Baptist at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Parkview Baptist is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.2 goals per game this season. As for Edna Karr, they will host L.W. Higgins at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Edna Karr is facing L.W. Higgins at the right time seeing as L.W. Higgins is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
