Basketball Recap: Downsville Comes Up Short

Downsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were dealt a 74-45 defeat at the hands of the Forest Bulldogs. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Demons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-48 two weeks ago.

Downsville's loss dropped their record down to 2-25. As for Forest, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-12.

Downsville has already played their next contest (against Choudrant), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Forest will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Family Community Christian at 7:00 p.m.
