Belle Vernon took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Elizabeth Forward, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Leopards skirted past the Warriors 6-4. The win was familiar territory for the Leopards, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Belle Vernon's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Elizabeth Forward, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-2.

Coincidentally, Belle Vernon and Elizabeth Forward will both be playing West Mifflin the next time they take the field. The Warriors will host the Titans at 4:15 p.m. on Monday, while the Leopards will host them at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
