Volleyball Game Preview: Whitewater Whippets vs. East Troy Trojans

Whitewater is 2-8 against East Troy since October of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Whippets will take on the Trojans at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Whitewater came up short against Jefferson on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-12, 25-15.

Meanwhile, East Troy came up short against Waukesha North on Saturday and fell 2-0.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Waukesha North scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21.

East Troy's defeat dropped their record down to 12-17. As for Whitewater, their loss dropped their record down to 1-19.

Whitewater suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to East Troy in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Whippets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
