Ace Monihen Has Career Rushing Day
Starting off the list is Council Grove's Ace Monihen, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Monihen rushed for 200 yards and four touchdowns on only ten carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. The victory for Osage City keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Parsons and Osage City will square off against Silver Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

While Mission Valley might've come up empty on Friday, Porter Deters wasn't going down without a fight. Deters was dynamite, rushing for 139 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries, while also throwing for 143 yards and a touchdown. His longest rush was for an impressive 67 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
