Baseball Recap: Hackensack Comes Up Short

Hackensack came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Ramapo Raiders, falling 17-2. The loss continues a trend for the Comets in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost four in a row.

Hackensack saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jason Bocio, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Hackensack's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-4. As for Ramapo, their record is now 5-8-1.

While Hackensack had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
