Basketball Recap: Coeur d'Alene Takes a Loss

Coeur d'Alene saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They took a 69-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crean Lutheran Saints. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Coeur d'Alene's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Crean Lutheran, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Coeur d'Alene will be home for the holidays to greet Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Coeur d'Alene's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Crean Lutheran, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Sierra Vista at 2:15 p.m. on Thursday. Crean Lutheran knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Sierra Vista likes a good challenge.
