On Monday, Narragansett faced Rogers in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Narragansett Mariners simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Rogers Vikings 51-23. The Mariners have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Narragansett's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.9 points per game. As for Rogers, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Narragansett will head out to square off against East Providence at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. East Providence will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Narragansett surely won't give up without a fight. As for Rogers, they are taking a road trip to challenge Cranston East at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
