Basketball Recap: Highland Huskies vs. Genesee Bulldogs

Highland lost against Genesee two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Highland Huskies were outmatched by the Genesee Bulldogs and fell 67-32. The Huskies' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it seven in a row.

Genesee found their leader in sophomore Jackson Banks, who went 11 for 18 en route to 27 points and six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Banks has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Joshua Ketcheson, who went 6 of 7 on his way to 15 points and eight boards.

Highland's record is now 2-12. As for Genesee, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Highland will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Clearwater Valley at 6:00 p.m. on February 10th. As for Genesee, they will host Wallace at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
