Basketball Recap: South Broward Comes Up Short

South Broward played a tough game on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Boyd Anderson Cobras 74-31. The Bulldogs lost against the Cobras in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 66-51 score last time.

Leading Boyd Anderson to victory were Juawayne Walters and Niteno Pierre. Walters went 5 for 10 en route to 16 points along with six assists and six rebounds, while Pierre went 8 of 9 on his way to 16 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Cadet, who posted 12 points along with eight boards and four blocks.

South Broward's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Boyd Anderson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-6.

South Broward has already played their next match (against Dillard), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Boyd Anderson has already played their next contest, a 51-47 loss against Miramar on the 16th.
