Basketball Recap: Tallulah Falls Takes a Loss

Tallulah Falls was the 47-35 winner over Loganville Christian Academy when they last played one another last Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Tallulah Falls Indians fell 43-30 to the Loganville Christian Academy Lions on Tuesday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Loganville Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sanai Cyrus led the charge by dropping a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. Cyrus is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Dachelle Lucas, who posted 11 points and five boards.

Tallulah Falls' loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Loganville Christian Academy, their record is now 12-10.

Tallulah Falls and Loganville Christian Academy could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. Tallulah Falls will square off against Athens Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday down 260 places (285 vs. 25). Similarly, Loganville Christian Academy (ranked 142nd) will meet George Walton Academy (ranked 32nd) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
