Softball Recap: Galt Takes a Loss

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Galt was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They lost 8-1 to the Rosemont Wolverines. The game marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Galt saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lexi Maldonado, who went 3-for-4 with one double. That's the most hits Maldonado has posted since back in April of 2024.

Galt's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Rosemont, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Galt will venture away from home to square off against Bradshaw Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rosemont, they are taking a road trip to take on McClatchy at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
