Basketball Recap: Aliquippa Takes a Loss

Aliquippa has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 67-63 heartbreaker at the hands of the Richmond Heights Spartans.

Aliquippa's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Richmond Heights, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-5 record.

Aliquippa is taking a road trip to challenge Ellwood City at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ellwood City is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.5 points per game this season. As for Richmond Heights, they will take on Archbishop Stepinac at 11:30 a.m. on January 19th.
