Softball Recap: McAllen Takes a Loss

McAllen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North Raiders, falling 9-3. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Giada Farias made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

McAllen's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-5.

McAllen has already played their next match (against McAllen Memorial), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Sharyland on the 17th.
