Coahoma took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 60-8 victory over the Forsan Buffaloes. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-0.
Boyd Cox had an outrageously good game as he threw for 188 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. What's more, he racked up 17 rushing yards, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Jayden Henderson was another key player, picking up 105 receiving yards and one TD.
Coahoma didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Forsan to a completion percentage of just 44.8%. The Bulldogs weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 64%.
