Broughton's offense was hitting West Carteret from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Ari Carrier led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Broughton's victory bumped their record up to 2-0-2. As for West Carteret, they now have a losing record of 1-2-1.

Broughton wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 4-0 loss against Wake Forest on the 10th. As for West Carteret, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against DASH on the 8th.
