Softball Recap: LaGrange Comes Up Short

LaGrange was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-5 to the Leesville Wampus Cats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wampus Cats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 27-3 on March 6th.

LaGrange's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Leesville, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-7.

Looking ahead, LaGrange will welcome Washington-Marion at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. LaGrange's pitchers better be ready for this one: Washington-Marion has averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season. As for Leesville, they will head out to challenge Iowa at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
