California Academy of Math & Science entered their tilt with Wildwood on Thursday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Wolves. That's more bragging rights for the Coyotes, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

California Academy of Math & Science had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-20, 25-8, 25-21.

California Academy of Math & Science's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Wildwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Looking ahead, California Academy of Math & Science is taking a road trip to face off against North at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Wildwood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hawthorne Math & Science Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
