Softball Recap: Soledad Takes a Loss

If Soledad was feeling good fresh off their 16-6 takedown of Rancho San Juan on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Aztecs fell just short of the Trailblazers by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday. The Aztecs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trailblazers earlier this season, when they won 16-6.

Soledad's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Rancho San Juan, they pushed their record up to 5-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Soledad has already played their next match, a 12-0 defeat against Pacific Grove on the 24th. As for Rancho San Juan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 15-3 loss against Alisal on the 24th.
