Softball Recap: Sheyenne Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Bismarck

Sheyenne faced Bismarck in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Mustangs lost 24-1 to the Demons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Demons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on Saturday.

This is the second loss in a row for Sheyenne and nudges their season record down to 5-4. As for Bismarck, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sheyenne will take on West Fargo at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Bismarck, they will face off against Century at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
