Soccer Game Preview: Front Range Christian vs. Middle Park

The Front Range Christian Falcons will face off against the Middle Park Panthers at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Front Range Christian knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Middle Park likes a good challenge.

Front Range Christian is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Denver Christian just ended the team's nine-match winning streak on Saturday. They came up short against the Thunder, falling 7-4. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Front Range Christian were already down 5-1.

They hit Denver Christian with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Cooper Terpstra, Luke Ford, Ethan Martin, and Josiah O'Keefe.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in September, Middle Park was forced to settle for a draw last Tuesday. Neither they nor Vail Mountain could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of three yellow cards before it was all over: Middle Park's Grahm Kauffman and Connor Burns and Vail Mountain's Colm Kinney were all carded.

Middle Park's draw gives them a new season record of 6-7-2. As for Front Range Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-3-1.
