Mineral Wells has no trouble against Trinity Christian

The Mineral Wells Rams's three-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They took down Trinity Christian 55-38. The victory was just what Mineral Wells needed coming off of a 79-23 loss in their prior match.
Mineral Wells found their leader in underclassman Jaylee Newman, who scored 17 points along with two steals. That's the first time this season that Newman scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Cadence Colwell, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Mineral Wells' victory bumped their record up to 16-12. As for Trinity Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.
Mineral Wells will head out on the road to take on Graham at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Trinity Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lake Country Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lake Country Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Trinity Christian in Texas (Lake Country Christian is ranked 122nd, while Trinity Christian is ranked 708th).
