Hagerman extended their winning streak to five on Friday, bumping them up to 6-2. They blew past Butte County 38-18. The result was nothing new for Hagerman, who have now won six matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

Hagerman found their leader in sophomore Casen Knight, who rushed for 122 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 15 carries. Hagerman is undefeated when Knight posts 80 or more rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget Cameron Clausse, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.

As for Butte County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7. They gained 75 more yards on the day, but it was Hagerman that made the best use of them.

When it comes to explaining why Butte County lost, don't look at Cooper Williams. Despite the final result, he rushed for 128 yards and three scores while picking up 7.5 yards per carry.

Hagerman wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 42-20 loss against Raft River on the 24th. As for Butte County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 57-12 defeat against Grace on the 24th.
