It's playoff time, and Mill River had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Poultney Blue Devils 13-6 on Wednesday. The Minutemen might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Mill River has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10.3 runs. As for Poultney, they dropped their record down to 6-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Mill River will face off against West Rutland at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Golden Horde's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Minutemen's hitters will have their work cut out for them. Poultney does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
