Soccer Recap: West Scranton Takes a Loss

West Scranton lost against Honesdale back in October of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Invaders came up short against the Hornets, falling 8-0.

West Scranton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Honesdale, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-3.

Coming up, West Scranton will square off against Elk Lake at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Honesdale, they will challenge Wallenpaupack Area at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. Honesdale will be up against Wallenpaupack Area's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.33 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
