Soccer Recap: Episcopal Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Episcopal challenged Brookland on Friday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Bearcats by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Brookland this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-2 back in April.

Episcopal has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season. As for Brookland, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Episcopal will face off against Dardanelle at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brookland, they will square off against Green Forest at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Green Forest will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Brookland surely won't give up without a fight.
