Baseball Recap: Etiwanda Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

Etiwanda extended their winning streak to five on Friday, bumping them up to 15-7. They beat the Chino Hills Huskies by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 8-5. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 8-5 win on Wednesday.

Etiwanda let Lj Roellig and James Milam run wild. Roellig went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI, while Milam got on base in two of his four plate appearances with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Severns, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs and one double.

As for Chino Hills, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-9-1. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly three runs.

On Chino Hills' side, Jacob Jimenez was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Jimenez has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last three times he's played. BROOKS BUONCRISTIANI was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
