Baseball Recap: Parsons Comes Up Short

Parsons was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Girard Trojans, falling 14-0. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 6-0 to the Trojans when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Parsons' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Girard, their win bumped their record up to 11-0-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parsons will welcome Fort Scott at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Girard, they will be playing at home against Pittsburg on Monday.
