Basketball Game Preview: Sargent Farmers vs. Heritage Christian Eagles

Having just played yesterday, the Sargent Farmers will jump right back in to play the Heritage Christian Eagles at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Sargent is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They put the hurt on Crowley County with a sharp 57-34 victory.

Sargent's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kandace Pargin led the charge by shooting 56% from the field to rack up 24 points and eight boards. Pargin is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last eight games she's played. Angelise Garcia was another key player, going 5-for-9 en route to 14 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Heritage Christian against Fowler on Friday as the squad secured a 58-21 win.

Sargent is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.2 points on average over those games. Heritage Christian's victory bumped their record up to 21-3.
