Preview: Christ's Church Academy Eagles vs. Warner Christian Academy Eagles
Two dominant players in Jackson Hadden and Christian Nicholas are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Christ's Church Academy Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Warner Christian Academy Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Christ's Church Academy came up short against Interlachen and fell 56-46.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Hadden, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. He hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for 16 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Olson, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Warner Christian Academy lost to Crooms Academy on the road by a decisive 66-47 margin on Thursday.
Christ's Church Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Warner Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Christ's Church Academy against Warner Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2019 as the squad secured a 86-51 victory. With Christ's Church Academy ahead 61-23 at the half, the game was all but over already.
