Volleyball Recap: Kingman Takes a Loss

Kingman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Chaparral Roadrunners. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Roadrunners this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 two weeks ago.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-12.

Kingman's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Chaparral, the win snapped their losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 15-12 record.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Kingman will face off against rival Conway Springs at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Chaparral is set to square off against their familiar foe Belle Plaine on Saturday.
