Lamar Christian waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Sacred Heart Crusaders by a score of 6-3. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Crusaders back in February, they had to take a 9-5 loss.

The team relied heavily on Dallas Parker, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Waylon Parker, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Lamar Christian's record now sits at 17-6. As for Sacred Heart, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lamar Christian will challenge Coastal Mississippi Homeschool at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season. As for Sacred Heart, they will take on Amite County at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
