Hope skates past Central with ease

Recap: Hope Blue Wave vs. Central Knights

The Hope Blue Wave stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Central 40-6 at home. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Hope.

Hope was led to victory by Eridania Mendoza and Sa-moni McKay. Mendoza scored nine points, while McKay scored ten points.

Hope is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Central, they dropped their record down to 2-14 with that defeat, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Hope won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Providence Country Day at 5:00 p.m. on February 7th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Rhode Island (Providence Country Day is ranked 38th, while Hope is ranked 27th). As for Central, they will head out on the road to square off against Times Squared Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Central is facing Times Squared Academy at the right time seeing as Times Squared Academy is stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
