Basketball Recap: Columbus Christian Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Columbus Christian blew Tabernacle Christian out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Tabernacle Christian got their revenge. The Crusaders fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 56-53. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Crusaders have suffered against the Eagles since December 28, 2020.

Despite the loss, Columbus Christian still got an impressive performance from Emma Murray, who dropped a triple-double with 18 points, 18 boards, and 12 blocks. Murray is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down ten or more in each of the last eight games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Olivia Wise, who shot 55% from the field en route to 14 points and six boards.

Columbus Christian suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 4-2. As for Tabernacle Christian, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Columbus Christian will head out on the road to challenge Seven Oaks Classical at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Tabernacle Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Eminence at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
