Baseball Game Preview: Pecos Panthers vs. Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls

The Pecos Panthers will face off against the Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.

It was a proper cat-fight when Pecos took on Santa Rosa on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 28-6 to the Lions.

Meanwhile, Oak Grove Classical Academy scored first but ultimately less than Mesilla Valley Christian School in their game on Saturday. They came up short against the SonBlazers, falling 14-3. That's two games in a row now that the Owls have lost by exactly 11 runs.

Oak Grove Classical Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Rush, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Brody Prochnow was another, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.

Pecos' defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Oak Grove Classical Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
