Blanchester has gone 8-1 against Georgetown recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the G-Men at 4:30 p.m. Blanchester will be strutting in after a win while Georgetown will be coming in after a defeat.

Blanchester's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They put the hurt on Clermont Northeastern with a sharp 10-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Sammy Roush made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. Roush was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Blanchester got a big performance out of Cole Mueller, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits Mueller has posted since back in April of 2024. Caleb Mobley was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Blanchester always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .581. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Clermont Northeastern only posted an OBP of .222.

Meanwhile, Georgetown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 8-1 to Bethel-Tate.

Jordan Preston was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

Georgetown's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Blanchester, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Everything went Blanchester's way against Georgetown in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Blanchester made off with a 25-0 win. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the G-Men have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
