Baseball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Jefferson can now relate to. They fell 3-0 to the Edgerton Crimson Tide on Tuesday. Considering the last time the Eagles couldn't score was back in April, the team can't take the result too hard.

The loss snapped Jefferson's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 20-8 record. As for Edgerton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season.
