Volleyball Recap: Neenah Takes a Loss

Neenah lost against Kimberly back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rockets came up short against the Papermakers, falling 3-0.

While Neenah was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Kimberly's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18, 25-22.

When it comes to explaining why Neenah lost, don't look at Ella Lindgren. Despite the final result, she had 22 digs and four aces.

Among those leading the charge was Emma Tesch, who had 19 assists and five digs. That's the most assists she has posted over her last six matches. Finley Van Lannen also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Neenah's defeat dropped their record down to 15-13. As for Kimberly, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-13 record this season.

Neenah has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Appleton North on the 16th. As for Kimberly, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Hortonville on the 16th.
