Baseball Recap: Milken Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Milken, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Oakwood Owls 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Owls on Tuesday, they had to take a 4-0 defeat.

Jordan Liebman tossed a big game, pitching 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

Milken has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Oakwood, they dropped their record down to 15-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Milken will take on Buckley at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Oakwood, they will challenge Viewpoint at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
