Auburn Riverside always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .674. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Auburn only posted an OBP of .118.
Auburn Riverside's victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.7 runs over those games. As for Kennedy Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
